How cooperation works
1. Situation review
We clarify the employee’s citizenship, location, position, planned start date and the employer’s situation.
2. Document list
We prepare the list of documents and information required for the specific visa or residence permit procedure.
3. Preparation and submission
We prepare the documents for submission to PMLP and help track the process until a decision is made.
4. Employee starts work
The goal is for the employee to begin official work in Latvia as quickly as possible without unnecessary delays.
What the employer should consider
NVA vacancy
Third-country nationals may be employed only if the vacancy has been open for at least 10 working days and registered in the NVA CV and vacancy portal, except for specific exemptions.
Employer status
The employer must be registered as a taxpayer and must not have tax or other compulsory payment debt to the state budget.
PMLP decision term
If the invitation or sponsorship call request is related to employment, PMLP decides on approval within five working days after the required documents are submitted.
Frequently asked questions
Can we receive a discount when preparing documents for several employees?
We will prepare an individual offer for companies that want to arrange documents for several employees at once. The price depends on the number of employees, citizenship, current location and other factors.
Do you also prepare other documents for foreign nationals?
At the moment, we only offer document preparation related to long-term or short-term employment of third-country nationals in Latvia.
Is it faster to arrange the documents with your assistance?
If the documents are prepared correctly and all PMLP steps are completed, the processing time is the same. If you have not prepared such documents before, specialist support may save time and reduce the risk of errors.
